How to Attend
All participants must receive an invitation from Coach Tim Riskie. If you're a top-level recruit interested in competing for Hobart Tennis, email Coach Riskie directly to express your interest in attending one of these elite weekends.
This is your chance to find out what it truly means to be a student-athlete at Hobart. Come ready to connect, learn, and see how Hobart Tennis can help you grow both on and off the court.
Join us for an Elite Recruit Visit Weekend at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and experience what it’s like to be a Hobart Statesman—on the court, in the classroom, and across campus.
These exclusive visit weekends are invitation-only and are reserved for high school seniors. Each visit is limited to just two recruits to ensure a personalized, immersive experience with our team, coaches, and campus community.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Tour our beautiful campus and athletic facilities
Meet current Hobart Tennis team members
Sit in on a college class with a Hobart player
Connect with HWS Career Services and Admissions
Learn about our strength & conditioning program
Attend a Hobart Tennis practice
Share meals and conversations with the team
Visits can be single-day or overnight, based on your availability and travel plans.

Visits to HWS allow recruits to experience a Day in the Life of a Hobart tennis player. These visits are reserved for juniors or seniors. They could be either a day visit or an overnight visit. Here is a sample visit schedule:
9:00am - Meet Coach Riskie at HWS Tennis Center - Outdoor Tennis Courts9:30am – Meet with HWS Career Services (Trinity Hall)10:00 – Attend campus tour and info session at HWS Admissions11:45 – Meet Coach Riskie at HWS Admissions12:00pm – Meet with members of the Hobart tennis Team for Lunch in SAGA1:10 - Attend Class: ECON 301: Money and Financial Markets - Stern Hall 2032:30 - Meet with Coach Callen to discuss Strength and Conditioning Program3:00 - Meet with Coach Riskie to Tour Athletic Facilties4:00 - Attend tennis practice6:00 - Go to Dinner in SAGA with TeamOPEN HOUSE
OPEN HOUSE
An open house visit allows visiting recruits to experience a Saturday on campus. Call Admissions at 315-781-3622 to schedule a campus tour and info session for the date you wish to visit. Meeting with a Coach and team members is also possible. There may be a practice to watch as well. There will be plenty of time for exploring campus and Geneva on your own.

MATCH DAY
Match Days are the best way to see the level of the team and get a sense of the match atmosphere here at HWS. During the match, there will also be time to meet the coaches, players, and potentially some parents. Click the SCHEDULE link to check out when we play our home matches.
