1. Think about what type of school you want to attend:

   • Do you want a big or small school?

   • What type of academics do you wish to pursue?

2. Create a list of colleges that you are interested in and do some research about them online:

3. Contact the tennis coach via email or phone call to find more information about the tennis program.

4. Give the coach some more information about yourself by updating your RECRUIT PROFILE

5. Create a video of yourself playing some points and post it to YouTube. Send the video link to the coach and ask them how you think they would fit on the current team.

6. If the coach thinks you would be competitive with the current team then you should schedule a visit to the campus.

7. Look at the team’s schedule and see if you can arrange a visit when a home match takes place so you can see the team play.

8. When you come to visit, make sure you get to meet with the tennis coach, an admissions representative, and take a tour of the campus.
